Same- I made it to about 20-25 of these back in around 2008. Between this(Ultimate Sigs) and SS Classic jumbo patches they managed to make two of what I consider the best insert sets ever made in 2005.
I miss the competition and variety big time.

This is great. I've always like inscription autos featuring a players nickname (not those Exquisite inscriptions a few years ago that had "what's your favorite food").

His more widely known nickname was “The Goon.” But it looks to me like he just scribbled in “Gambler!” on the card instead. I don’t ever recall him going by that nickname though.

Not sure if it was used for every card but I believe Gagne used "game over" as his inscription.

Great collection. That Frank Thomas Inscriptions has been in the top 5 of my Frank wantlist since it came out, but was outbid about 9 times over the years.
