Quick vote:

Do you think 10-years from today a Tom Brady Autograph will be worth more:

1) on a Non-RC Trading Card of some type.
2) on a memorabilia item (photo, jersey, football, game ticket, etc).

Thanks!!

All depends on card and memorabilia item. Is the card a limited run card of high end product or just base or even signed lower end product? Right now to get him to sign a full size helmet or jersey is like 2500 plus cost of jersey so you could be $3k on a jersey or helmet and more if you get it inscribed so depends if card would be over $3k

My preference, YMMV.

1. Authentic jersey
2. Full-size authentic helmet
3. Authentic football
4. Game ticket (if it was a notable game and in good condition)
5. Base trading card
6. Game ticket (if not)
7. Mini-helmet
8. Replica stitched jersey (the kind meant to be framed)
9. 8x10 picture

Anything actually game used (jersey, helmet, gloves, shoes, pants, etc) goes to the top of the list.

As other have pointed out, the question is too open ended. A short print on card auto, from a high end release, would sell for more than a replica jersey, but less than a game issued one.

Or, a sticker auto on a limited print card would sell for more than an auto on a replica helmet, but maybe less than an auto on an authentic pro model helmet.

By and large, I think there are more people that would spend the money for a nice Brady signed piece of memorabilia. VS those looking to shell out money on a signed card, that cant really be displayed.

IE, some banker would want a signed helmet for his office, but couldn't care less about a PSA slabbed signed card.

And even with that, card collectors are likely to want more than one Brady signed card. Where as someone who wants a Brady signed memorabilia doesn't really need 6 helmets.

The answer, his high end signed cards will always be worth more than generic signed memorabilia. But his high end memorabilia is so scarce, its hard to equate to.

I would much rather have a full size helmet signed, as that would look so cool displayed. I'd even rather have an autographed 16x20 in terms of displaying it. However, I do see where others say a card if it is low numbered from a high end brand. I just think to display it, memorabilia looks much cooler!

I sold all my auto's and kept my 8x10 Triple Auto with Law & Vinetari because it was worth less than any of the auto'd cards but also the pic is framed and hanging, the cards were in a case in a closet.

I would stick with a licensed pack released issue from one of the major card companies.

Provenance is tough to prove for memorabilia and secondary market autographed cards.

idk, but i saw that a 2002 Topps Ring of Honor on-card Tom Brady autograph just sold recently for over $8000
