Exquisite 1st and Last Rookies Going for Insane Prices

Has anyone else noticed this?

Any exquisite football rookies numbered (for example: 1/75, 1/65, 1/120) are going for ridiculous prices.


Anyone know why?

I thought jersey numbered cards were the only ones that got a premium...

First print, last print, and jersey numbers have always sold for a premium from what I've noticed.

A premium is one thing, but I noticed that a few (ex: Ndamakung Suh) went for ridiculous prices.

Yeah, the jersey number premium should be the only significant one. Even that one is ridiculous in nature to begin with.

It is, but it isn't. I can see why people would pay a little extra for it. It they PC the player it is cool to have their jersey number.

Theres some guy who buys up all the first and last numbered exquisite cards believe. Hes got some deep pockets and people know about him so he gets bidded up A LOT!

I thought that too, but I'm thinking it's not just one big guy--but a few. The user ID's are scrambled, but the same letters pop up of 3-4 different guys as the winners of all these auctions.
