It’s the 4th qtr and you are down by 14 points. On your bench is every quarterback to ever play the game , who do you put in.

Is this a serious question? I imagine most of the answers here are going to be Nick Foles.

How good is the offensive line? Brady pocket quality or David Carr run for your life quality?

Whether you are talking about tortilla or potato chips down on the floor, it's gotta be Jamarcus Russell hands down.

Who are they playing? Home or away game? Dome or open air stadium? Temperature outside? Regular season or playoff game? Is it after a bye week? Who is the play caller? Who is the head coach? How many timeouts do they have left? Does the QB come with their favorite receivers? Is this high school, college, NFL, or a semi-pro league? Are the rules modern day or the same as when the QB played? Is the QB current age as of 2022 or time traveled from their prime? Is this post-pandemic or the before times? How big is this bench anyways, that's a lot of dudes to be riding the pine. Can I sub in a new QB every single play? Which single QB do I not have access to because he's on the opposing team and helped lead that team to being up by 14 points?

How is this team down 14 if the opponent doesn't even have a QB?

Frank Reich.

Led the biggest comeback in NCAA history and the largest NFL postseason comeback. Undefeated in the playoffs.

This made me chuckle a lot. Thank you. Except I think the OP means your team needs a QB not the opponent. But maybe we need to know the opposing QB after all.

Does anyone have more practice at double-digit 4th quarter comebacks than Matty Stafford? It’s the gift that keeps giving when you play 12 years in Detroit

Maybe Derek Carr. Both QB's are underrated and have played for crap organizations. Vegas Dave would agree with me as well. :)!

Well he refuses to play so you are out of luck

He'd sometimes be the reason his Broncos teams were in holes to begin with but... give me John Elway. It seemed like every season, Elway would lead the Broncos to at least 2 game-winning drives during the regular season but made his legend as much in the playoffs too.

Beat me to it. It broke my heart when I found out the Notorious B.I.G. lyrics to one of his songs wasn't actually the black Frank Reich but instead the black Frank White.

2014 Wild Card game, Andrew Luck's Colts were down 38-10 in the 3rd quarter and they won 45-44.

2003 Monday Night Football, Peyton Manning's Colts were down 35-14 with 4 minutes left in the GAME at the reigning Super Bowl champs Tampa Bay and they won 38-35 in OT.

George Blanda. He can kick extra points and field goals also.

2 scores gets to 12 points, you need those extra points and field goals to win the game.

Hmmm...not sure, but Johnny Manziel was clearly supposed to be the Cobra Commander to Staubach's Serpentor.

But, like the real Cobra Commander, Money Manziel got caught up in his own hype.

You’d rather have Rodgers and his 18 career comeback wins over Brady and his 42 career comebacks?

Before this season wasn't Rodgers 0-42 vs teams with a winning record when trailing by more than 1 point in the 4th?

But what if in this hypothetical scenario you are ALSO a DFS player in addition to being a Time Lord and you are playing in-their-prime Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams? Gotta get that fantasy $$$ and A-A-Ron will deliver stats like it was Cutler throwing to Marshall or Stafford to Johnson.

I’ll take Brady/Moss/Gronk in that fantasy.
