I need to make a return. I made return request and the seller told me to return it but didn’t accept the return.

Doenst he need to do that

My understanding is that if the return request is valid (INAD etc.) then ebay will force it regardless of whether the seller accepts or not.

Was it 3 days after delivery? Seller can decline a return for any reason then

I opened a case. He had a few questions, I answered them and he said no problem, just send the item back. But that’s it. I thought he had to accept the return or something until I returned him.

Sometimes sellers play hardball and just let eBay handle the matter. I believe I had 1 that took the maximum days allowed for refund. I have to give credit to COMC because they immediately took my return and refunded when card was received. It was a gold Prizm RC that had a deep line that didn't show up on pictures and I haven't seen that card listed for 3 months already.
