We get Ryan for a 3rd!!! Big pick up! With all the news about Baker wanting to come to Indy I was praying the Ballard wasn't that dumb to even consider that, my prayers were answered.

I wish him well. He gave the Falcons a lot of solid years and seems like a decent guy. Hope he takes Indy to the playoffs. They seem to have a good Oline, run game and defense. 3 things he didn’t have last year with the Falcons.

Not a Colts fan, but I'll admit that's a great pick up. Matty is a good QB... this could be your year!

Lol this is SUCH a good point... Brady is great but when you only have to start playing in the Playoffs (usually after a first round bye) NFL is a lot easier.

Josh Rosen in Arizona: The Cards draft Murray.
Josh Rosen in Miami: The Phins draft Tua.
Josh Rosen in San Fran: The 49ers draft Lance.
Josh Rosen in Atlanta: The Falcons draft Pickett???

Willis at 8? Lol it could happen. I think the Colts go Pickett (unless the Steelers take him?) or Carrol or Ridder in round 2.

Colts don't have a 1st round pick thanks to Wentz so Pickett is out unless he really falls or the Colts find a way to trade up. Neither of which I see happening.

Well his hands grew an inch in less than 2 weeks so crazier things have happened. I may be wrong I think that if the Steelers don't pick him at 20, I bet he goes down to about the range they pick in round 2.

Ha, Ha, yep..
I have never seen an off season where this many big names are being moved around. Especially QBs. On the one hand, it is exciting especially for those getting upgrades. On the other, I don't want the NFL to turn into the NBA where you got a bunch of star players being consolidated to a handful of teams and "chasing" rings.
Most of these moves are trades and aren't free agent collusions, so it seems ok. All of these QB moves proves again how important having a good QB is. Many GMs would rather trade/resign the farm on a proven one, even if he isn't "elite" than go back to the draft, develop, pray carousel.

If he or anyone gets signed it’s just filler until the cap situation is cleared up. They are drafting a qb this year or next.

....and yet the Saints don't need one to beat him.
Although, Winston just signed so there's a "remote" chance the regular season wins stay steady.

Andy Dalton looming on the horizon?
Doesn’t matter to me. This year means nothing for the new GM. He’s just clearing space for the future.
The Falcons are eating a LOT of money on this one
His cap hit was set to be $36.66 million for 2022. By trading him before his roster bonus was due, they will be charged a dead cap value of $43.5 million because of past guarantees and restructures.
This dead cap hit is easily the most in league history and means the Falcons will be paying over a quarter of their salary cap space for him to not be on their team.

As long as Ryan doesn't go out there looking like Big Ben from last year, he could do some things with the Colts.

Zero clue how the Colts got Washington to take on the Wentz contract and even less of a clue how that Atlanta is eating Ryan's contract...
That being said.. Ballard... Bueller?.. Ballard...
Please find a left tackle and a WR to put on the opposite side of Pittman

How so physically? You talking about arm strength. Because he doesn’t run. He’s accurate and doesn’t make as many boneheaded plays as Wentz. That’s my guess.

I agree the AFC is stronger at QB, but Kyler Murray and Dak Prescott are better than Mac, and equal with Ryan. Throw in Rodgers too and 5 of the 13 best QB's are in the NFC. Not as unbalanced as it seems.
