I'm fairly new to this but have noticed that the stars on the shields i'm seein placed in cards are different as far as how many and placement. Are there different logo shields for different parts of the uniform or what? Just a little confused, thats all...thanks guys.

Most of the logos prior to this year have 20 stars, the ones from 2010 have 8.

Try to look for 1/1 cards if you are going for genuine shield logos from the player's collar. Scam artists will often put fake pieces on something #ed higher. Sometimes laundry tag shields do come on higher #ed cards too.

general rule of thumb, if the card is #ed higher than out of five, it is more than likely fake.
