Im looking to start selling on COMC, currently being based in the UK i wondered if anyone could share their experience of using this service from europe and any tips anyone has?

The reason i don't want to sell through eBay etc is i have massive bulk of cards that would take me hours and hours to list and COMC seems to take that hassle away.

any info anyone has on this would be great!

There's some sort of COMC primer that someone will probably link to before post #10 on this thread.

I think the first thing I would mention is that COMC isn't suitable for "massive bulk". It's best for individual cards with some heft to them.

I do believe that it is very good for people who live overseas. But I probably wouldn't want to sell anything in my first batch which isn't likely to sell for at least $5 or so.

I would go down to $2-3 a card minimum on the 50 cent submission level, even on the first submission. But no, not for just straight up monster boxes of commons. The time for that was 8 years ago. But yes, COMC is probably a very good option for you to submit cards from Europe instead of attempting to sell them yourself.

$2 to $3 minimum is probably fine, but I would want to bump it a little with the seller being overseas and also this being their first submission.

It's important to note that when people around here talk about COMC selling prices, they are referring to the "base" price. To see the base price, you need to be logged in and also have your settings set to "Advanced Reseller Mode".

I would very highly recommend on your first batch that you try to find every card you want to send in on COMC and look at the lowest asking price for that card. If it isn't at least $2 / $3 / $5 or whatever you decide your minimum is, don't send it in on your first batch.

One reason it's important to send beefier cards on your first batch is that you will probably use most or all of your proceeds from the first few sales to pay for processing of other cards.

Suppose you pay $100 to process your first batch of 200 cards.

If you sell the cards for $5 each (base price), you will clear $4.75 per card after COMC's 5% transaction fee. After you sell 22 cards, you'll have $104.50 credit, so you could process another 209 cards.

OTOH, if you charge $1 per card on average, you would need to sell 106 cards in order to pay for your second batch.

Additionally, COMC charges a storage fee of 1 cent per item per month, if the items are priced above your "Free Storage Thresh Hold". If you have a basic account, you pay rent on items priced 76 cents or more. You can also upgrade your account for $50 per month, in which case the Free Storage Thresh Hold is $2.50.

If you have a basic account and you price 200 items at $1 each (base price), you'll have to pay $2 per month in rent on the unsold items. If these items are priced at $5 or $10 or even $49.74 each, you pay that same $2 per month. (There are additional fees for items priced higher than this).
