Never seen anyone clean a stained edge before.

That stinks, but I can't think of anything that you can do that won't ruin the integrity of the card.

Front and back would be one thing because of the plastic film on the cards; I bet that stain has permeated the paper on the sides, though.

If I were you, and I bought it and seller did not disclose the staining, I would ask for a refund. If, for some reason, you can't return it, I would sell it, but mention clearly the damage.

There probably is. We'll reserve a card alterer thread for you, if you do.

Whatever you do will just make it worse. Leave it as is or return it

Dip that end in rubbing alcohol or use one of those paint by number paintbrushes and white paint.

I wonder if this card ties back to the OP of this thread:

You can look up book restoration methods and that might help a little bit, but will not achieve complete stain removal...I'm not even sure what that stain is.

What is the card, by the way?

Rub some stain stick on there and throw it in the wash - delicate cycle.

I believe they are carrying it on.

Some nice hot sauce on that card, was it Pace Picante?

Probably worth more if it was Franks. Throw it in the oven for 18-20 mins then add some blue cheese sauce and you'll have a delightful low card snack.
