Anyway, below are my 4 existing bets (I've only made 2 other ones this season; went 1-1 and took a small overall loss [$1-$2]).

I've got a little bit on Embiid, Jokic and Giannis for MVP.

I have a lot on PHO to come out of the West.

I think I'll bet BOS pretty hard in the Playoffs.

DPOY has me stuck. Apparently it's now M. Smart as the favorite.

Title winner could be someone out East.

GS are a chance but need everyone firing and I just don't see it happening.

I'm a Dubs fan so I'm naturally biased in favor of them (when healthy, which they look to be at the start of the playoffs with the exception of Wiseman). All I'll say is good luck haha.

There's a lot of strong teams this year, really exciting times to have such level of competition.

GS have a better chance than most give them, just need an opportunity for everyone to play together and be healthy, which they'll mostly have at the start of the playoffs. What happens from that point, no one knows.

I don't really bet on games but i had this thought the other day. Can you bet like real early in the year on a team that is favored to get to the finals to not make the finals? What would that be called and where would you do it? That'd be my kind of bet.

Yes, you can place bets on Eastern Conference and Western Conference champions. You can also make over/under bets on team win totals before the season begins.

What i mean is can you bet against a team without betting on another team? Say for instance a team is the preseason favorite to get to the finals. Can you place a bet that they wont make it there?

I heard on the radio this morning that a guy placed a bet earlier this season that the Lakers would not make the playoffs, so I assume there are some books that will allow bets like you described.

Some books should have that option.

Would probably be something like:

Win Eastern Conference +300
Does not win Eastern Conference -450

Wins NBA Finals + 550
Does not win NBA Finals -700

As you can see, youd have to bet a lot to win $100.

I took Jokic when he was 5 to 1
I took Giannis at 10 to 1

I bet GS also as a hedge. I think they could still be tough if everyone is playing. But they aren't all playing. I think Phoenix have far more going for them and look a tougher team from top to bottom. GS have not been good for about 40 games.

In a random Nuggs-Dubs game, took the Dubs and made $50 (don’t remember the spread). Put $30 on the Dubs last game at -1, if only Klay could’ve made a FT!

In addition to my Dubs championship bet, I put $45 on the Dubs at -1 tonight and put $60 on PHX in the PHX-DAL series.
