Title says it all- Curious if people think if I should crack a 2003 Topps finest Tom Brady Gold Xfractor Uncirculated card to send in to PSA. In theory, it should be a guaranteed 10 but we all know this is seldom true. Thoughts?

Not guaranteed a 10. Beautiful card from a fine set. Keep it in the uncirculated case.

Send it in in the case with a min grade if you don't want to crack it. If it doesn't meet the min grade they leave it in case. If think think it meets min they'll open it.

Definitely not guaranteed. Sent a lot of these "uncirculateds" to PsA over the years. A few 10s, mostly 9s, and even a few 8s.

definitely not a guarantee 10, but odds are in your favor for a good grade. Select XRC is a recent uncirculated example that comes to mind.
Select XRC 2020 non autos are 78% 10s
Select XRC 2019 non autos are 56% 10s
good luck

2 Authentic. I wonder if these can get damaged inside the case. Im sure they can!

Yes they for sure can. There's a bit of extra empty space in the case. Card doesn't always move, but there's space for it.

I'd crack regardless. Those cases are terrible looking. Get scratched just by looking at it.

I prefer keeping encased cards that way.
