I don't think I'll be putting in for any this week. Halladay is the only one that is intriguing to me. I went in for a Freeman last week and am regretting that decision...

You should do the Pineda and use it for the BLC and hold for the auto next year, IMO. I will be passing on the others, though Halladay will be great for the BLC and bonus points. :)!

Yeah, I was actually just thinking about that! Although, I was thinking about picking up some extra cards (like an Aaron t-206 & Koufax) because people are offering a solid amount of Rewards points in trade...

My predictions were Halladay, Pineda and Belt. Guess I was close...
One advantage to the Pineda might be the PR. There still seem to be enough who don't know about him so the PR could help its value.

Careful with the rewards points. They use to be worth 1 to $1, or around that. Now that the catalogs have been sub-par for a while I would not try to accumulate points, they do not seem to be worth much for now. In the catalogs, Topps has been asking for a lot of points towards their merchandise too. If you can pick up some cards along with some points in a trade, then that could be a good deal. If you can use your points to pick up cards that you want then that works too.

Belt is in the minors why the hell would they release him?

Wouldn't that be typical Topps to release his card when he's not very "hot"?

His prediction was weeks ago.

I put in for the Pineda only. I have to say I do not like this years design much at all. I prefer backgrounds with the photos. They may look good in hand though. I also wonder, how the autos will look on these?

Too much and too high on Britton. Shocked to see Doc so low

Agreed. No way the Britton should be a higher PR and cost than the Pineda. The Hallady is a good buy at the cost and PR, if you buy vets.

Yeah, I agree on the design. While this is only the first year I've done etopps, I've seen the designs of previous years and I certainly prefer backgrounds with the photos, but sometimes it's tough to say without seeing them in hand.

In some of the past years etopps has let the members vote from four options on the design of the card. This design would not have got my vote.

It's the type of design that feeds to when the cards will be in-hand though (at least to some). The background will really "jump out" at you.
I wouldn't be one of its fans though.

I'm shocked a full 1,500 Freemans sold at that price last week.
Shocked.

Well, sometimes people buy on cardtarget and then flip a lot on ebay. If I had to guess though, you are right. With that PR on Freeman most would be able to order multiples of it. Etopps buyers are being more choosy now with the IPOs. Not to many collectors really want a card from 2011 when they could get a card from a few years before.

Wow, the RROs actually allocated today. That was a surprise to me.

That does not happen to often with etopps, a pleasant surprise. :)
