I can see it now. The best qb to ever to play the game. The God, the King, Patrick Mahomes throwing him bombs for years to come. Seahawks paying a WR 30 million is laughable. But I can see the Chiefs getting in the mix if the Hawks can’t lock him up. Where will he eventually land?

Won't be the Broncos if he wants to win.

Yeah you tell ‘em. Broncos are going to be absolutely terrible with one of the best qb’s in game and a top 5 defense. And Coach Hackett seems like such an jerk to play for as well. Why would anyone want to go to Denver sheesh!

LOL you think if KC would not pay Hill they will pay Metcalf?

Yeah, I would take DK in a heartbeat, but if they weren't going to pay Tyreek, they aren't paying him either.

Probably not. But if the Chiefs slip this year they may have to pony up.

If the logic is that they just don’t want a receiver making $20M plus then I agree. However, if the argument is that Tyreek is an equal or better investment than Metcalf, I don’t agree. I think the significant age gap makes a difference if you do decide to pay a receiver top dollar. I think most teams would give Metcalf a 4- or 5-year deal over Hill.

Not the Dolphins :)
They even posted a video to show off Tua’s rocket of an arm as they ball wobbled and was under thrown by a mile.

It's a tough division with lots of talent. Denver's got a lot invested in WR already and have needs elsewhere.

If we are talking about a team that neither has played for previously, I could see teams going either way.
For the Chiefs, giving up that Mahomes/Hill connection and then signing DK for the same money just wouldn't make sense.

If they didn’t pay Hill, they’re not gunna pay a lesser WR than him a similar amount.

Damn man, don't get my hopes up like that. I thought we made a deal for him or something.

No one has ever said Mahomes is the best. Best qb right now ? Debatable.
Was he the best for a year ? Yes.
Dk would help out for sure ; but mahomes has a long way to be the best.

Not really just because the draft is over doesn’t mean the Hawks won’t trade him. He was rumored to the Chiefs here in Seattle. I can’t see the Hawks paying Metcalf 30 million. And they are trying to build draft Capital to get the best qb next year.

Ditto. Nothing like a $60-70 million connection for a team looking to save on WR funds.
