I'm setting up at my first show in a little over a month and want to know what type of showcases people recommend and where they purchase them.

I imagine I will have one large case worth of slabs, one for high end sets in mags, and am thinking of getting a few more for $20+ cards and $5/$10 cards. I have two 8 foot tables to work with.

I'm planning on setting up at more shows in the future so I will definitely use them again, but don't necessarily want to dump lots of money into cases for this one show as the table cost was also high. If anyone has ideas on where to get some used, I would be interested in that as well.

Personally, if you have enough $5-$20 cards, I'd dump them all in a 2, 3, or 4 row and let people dig through. If you have time, pricing those cards would be very helpful to the buyer. However, a range of prices isn't the end of the world either. Just my two cents

As for used showcases, I got mine on FB marketplace. Maybe start there, and see where it takes you.

Good luck for next month!

I looked at Craigslist but FB marketplace is a good idea. I don't really have that many of them. I was thinking of having a $5 case with 5 for $20 deals and a $10 case with 6 for $50. Those are cards I'm fine to work with people on so I won't mind giving discounts. I'm basically just bringing my collection, and I keep that pretty tidy, don't have the patience or space for keeping stuff for .25/.50/dollar box stuff. I know some people love that but there will be plenty of that going on at this show. It's pretty big. Thanks for the input
