Couple juicy vids from SCR. I remember reading some discussion on fake slabs originating in Mexico running this same scam on some baseball stuff a while back.

Thanks for posting those. Will be really interesting to see PSA's response and if the case goes far enough, maybe some details from the FBI investigation will be released.
I shared the legal documents over on the football forum, if any was curious to read them.

"Removed" is an odd choice of words, but I take it the suit is now in Federal Court?

The term removed in regard to a case going from state to federal court is the technical term under the law when the jurisdiction is changed (I.e. the case is “removed” from state court to federal court)

The case was just filed on July 26, 2022 and was transferred to U.S. federal court yesterday, September 7, 2022. So it will be a while until we get some type of judgment.
But you have to keep in mind that anyone can file a lawsuit and file a "complaint". That doesn't mean that the allegations are true.
I do find it a bit odd that if what is stated is true, what PSA did is a bit odd. Why would they take the card out of the PSA holder before turning over the card to the FBI?
If anyone wants direct access to the docs to the case, here is the link.

For some reason the screen shots didn't load for me in the post/thread but I was able to copy and paste the links to see them. Holy crap. I think this is phenomenal for the hobby and I hope this forward movement rips PSA a new one.
The fact that they broke the card out of the case so that the FBI could not examine it "as is" is telling.

If the FBI is reading this and you need some card experts, I'd love to work for you!

Wake me up when something get's past the PSA excuse of "You are only paying for an opinion". My gut tells me this will get as much traction as all the trimming cards. PSA hasn't lost a step with that scandal.

Very true...PSA must have a good legal team because they never actually get held responsible for any of their scandals

Appears SCR was asked to assist with this lawsuit against Collectors Universe/PSA.

This is NUTS if true.
PSA broke the card out of the holder and then gave it to the FBI?
