Not an ideal situation here. Bought the card in the title (PSA cert 11311370) on MySlabs on 8/31. Card was shipped to me on 9/1 via USPS priority 2DA. Card was delivered on 9/3 to a different zip code (I live in 80218 and card delivered in 80205). Myslabs has said I should try and get the post office to retrieve the card, but I don’t know how that will be done unless some miracle happens and that’s also all on me. Paypal denied the claim because the seller showed a tracking number/shipment that was in line with what was on my account, except that the package (again) was delivered to an entirely different zip code. I had quick and open communication with the seller but he’s now kind of quiet, which I understand if he really did to everything right on his side, but now I’m wondering what I can do? Do I have any recourse? I’m out a decent amount of money because PayPal denied my claim and I don’t have the card.

I’m surprised by PayPal. It’s like they didn’t even look at the delivery zip compared to what the shipping zip was. Anyone have a similar experience who can give some advice? Anything would be appreciated.

Chris

I would call PayPal and explain the issue again. They should have refunded you as the card wasn’t delivered to the correct zip code.

Done and waiting on a call back. I couldn’t believe they denied the claim so quickly for that exact reason…it was delivered to a different zip!

The first step should have been going to the post office and talking to your local branch. They record GPS coordinates of the delivery scan, so they should be able to tell you exactly where the package was delivered. Since those two zip codes are across the street from each other, it should have been very easy for them to locate the package for you. Now that it has been over a week, it might be a little harder, but still your best bet.

Appreciate it. I did that as well. The package was scanned in my neighborhood actually but was never delivered. I agree it would have been better had I done this asap but I was out of the state [emoji52]
