Great story and typical short-sighted treatment of the times.
Solid Senior League career in Quebec and Trail Smoke Eater.
He definitely deserves recognition.
However I'm not sure if he is Hall worthy.
Into which category of the Hall could he be inducted? Builder?
As a player he played one shift in the NHL.

Good question. He would be in the category of builder, similar to Carnegie. Not only did he break the color barrier like O’Ree (only before him by 9 years), he also was the first Canadian to play pro in Switzerland and is credited with growing the game in that country (through his playing and coaching).
