I had a pretty good day both buying and selling.

I went to bed with nothing sold, thinking I was going to get shutout for the first time in ages. Woke up to a $300 sale.

Buying I have 8 wins out of 22 with 2 still to go. That's a higher % than normal, but not out of line with normal variance.

I was planning to overbid on a JRod sapphire just now, but seems like I wasn’t the only one. Possible that one gets relisted as it ended 20% higher than recent comps.

A few more I’ve been skunked on, too, but that JoRam was the most shocking

Ya… I was max at $88. I keep having to shift my targets recently. Seems like a bunch of momentum in names I’ve been stalking, meaning I’m ending up with very few success stories :(

Agreed… seems to have bottomed maybe two weeks ago. Which is right on schedule vs my prior memory. I kind of hoped this year it would be delayed, due to so much late season wax. But somehow a lot of that seems to be slow rolled on a breaking point of view. For instance in sapphire I probably have seen ~20 cards offered on players I collect… out of nearly 1100 print run…

I wonder if the crazy off-season contracts perked peoples’ interest this year? And it is benefitting all players?
