LCS 1/1 and MailDay

Hey all. I pulled my first 1/1 today from 2009 Triple threads. Me and another guy bought the last box of each year they had left.

Also killed a Absolute Memorabilia box :) Bought 2 Leaf draft boxes to test it out. I'll post those later. The 4th pic is my Mike Williams NT redemption. Someone posted a sicker patch but this ones nice also I think.


For my 1st 1/1 I am actually a little disappointed. Not even patches??? The card is made from and feels like a football which is pretty cool, cant tell in the pics though. This is his rookie year but it does not say it anywhere on the card? Let me know what you think. I'll be back in a couple hours.

So the only question I need answered is if this is considered Mccoy's rookie officially cause its 09 product?

Guy that opened the 2010 TT got the tebow /99 wanted to trade me that and $30 for it? Should I have took it?

i think the card considered his true rookie would be the one that has "R C" on it? but that is just a guess. 1/1's are hard to value since it is the only one of it's kind however Triple Threads is flooded with 1/1's because of all the parallels and i believe you have the pigskin parallel (hence the football feel). with all the 1/1's of one player it devalues the card a little bit. i think it might sell in the range of $125-$175 but thats just my opinion!

It's a rookie year card but is definitely not his rookie card from that product. True rookie cards would never be numbered 1/1. What you have is the pigskin parallel and those actually usually sell better than the majority of the other 1/1s from the set so I'd guess around $150-$200ish in value. If the Tebow /99 was autograph rookie card version than his offer of that plus $30 wasn't a bad offer but wasn't one you should regret turning down either. Nice hits!

Thanks zoeman.... happiness of getting my first 1/1 went down alot lol

didn't realize TTT had so many similar 1/1's shoulda figured with so many low#ed cards they had to fill it. I'm done with it for awhile. It is a very nice designed product but the thrill of pulling something rare like this 1/1 for example just isn't there.....

If they have 1-5 variations of rookies in most products, why couldn't there be 1/1 variations that just say rookie on it?

The 2010 TTT have 1/1s that say rookie on it... heres one that i pulled a week ago...

but there are other variations that dont say rookie on it

still should say rookie on all variations IMO

I didnt notice it but now that you say that... I'll have to check when I get home but It def. does not look that bad. maybe I'll tell them I want a replacement marino/elway/montana triple autograph..... just day dreaming here at work :p
