The fact that he may not be charged with anything because of the dumb gun laws in Alabama is just beyond stupid. How delivering a gun upon being asked to do so, and said gun being used to murder someone minutes later isn't applicable for any crime to be charged with, just makes no sense, but if that's the law, it's the law.

But that he's still part of Alabama's basketball team, let alone never having received any sort of suspension of any time frame, is absolutely and utterly absurd.

In the end, the fact remains that a mother of a young child would still be alive today if Miller never drove there with the gun in his car, as was requested to him by the shooter.

How Alabama can sit there and say they're okay with him still playing for them after that, is just a terrible look. If he was a walk-on, you can be damned sure he's immediately kicked off the team. If he's a bench/role player, he's being suspended indefinitely until a full investigation plays out.

But he's the star player of the #1 team in the nation, so nothing happens.

His lawyer is doing some lawyering, and the Bama AD is running with it. The two who were charged lied about every detail of the events until the police told them they had it all on tape. Then they fessed up (mostly). I would assume that in addition to the texts, the cops obtained Miller’s involvement from those two.

But, Miles was arrested on capital murder for it...

The police said the gun belonged to Miles though. So maybe that is where Miller gets out of this? I have no clue.

Yes, the courts will decide who is to blame. The police investigated this and the DA cleared Brandon Miller of any wrong doing. There are three others at jeopardy for her death.
