My son just cut down his first net! His team won their Upward championship today. The first thing he said was, “Can you get me some cards since I won the championship?” LOL

With the specs and jersey #, is he a cross between Bo Outlaw and Mt. Mutombo on the hardwood?

Congrats to your son! Hopefully he had a great time and made some new friends. Tell him if he keeps winning, someday ppl will make cards of him.

Always great to see kids playing basketball having fun and even better getting some cards for a hobby they love and not worrying about the money investing side ,hope he gets some good ones that he is happy with

Thanks everyone! Yeah, he is a workhorse on the court. I wore Rec specs playing as a kid, so it’s a family tradition. They played the first quarter of game one with only 4 players and still won. He got a box of Donruss holiday yesterday. Not the greatest box, but he loves the base more than anything LOL. His coach sent us a long text about him yesterday…I think the words he said about him was the proudest moment thus far.

BO member Mouschi does some AMAZING custom cards! PM him and see what he charges. Then, you open a pack of cards, put the custom in it, reseal and have your son open the pack with his card in it.

I think another BO member did that and the story was fantastic.

Thats still a ways a away but hopefully! While at the tourney got to watch this kid Jaylan Mitchell play. Hes a top 10-15 recruit in the nation for the class of 2027 and is 6'7" in 8th grade! Kid was unreal, that tall in 8th grade and still plays as guard! Plus he's built like Lebron, kid is legit!

Lol yeah probably a bad comparison considering the recent BO allegations! :cry:

But definitely look this kid up, from what I hear he will be going to the NBA Academy down in Atlanta next year.
