I think Panini's deal lasted until 2024, not sure it's 2023-24 season or 2024-25 season

For all we know this is an unlicensed set. Maybe they have a separate deal with the NBPA. Or maybe it will be some of the retired players we saw in Finest + Wemby. We're gonna need some more details here.

Fanatics/Topps not supposed to get the NBA license until 2026 so..

There has been some commentary that the players license with NBPA is available earlier. So we may be looking at current players combined with no licensed teams; similar to Prizm Baseball.

LOL! What the actual hell was their argument? That'd be like a McDonald's taking a Burger King to court because they knew the McDonald's was closing in a couple months and people need to pay bills, so they go work for the King. Not LeBron.

I've said it before. Panini should be hiring outside the current hobby "circle jerk". Bring in some fresh blood. And have them sign non compete clauses this time lol

I'm not sure that their objective is to actually improve the hobby, but to continue to find ways to milk it.
