In part one of my discussion with Shawn of Reserved Investments, we talk about the similarities and differences in the collectibles markets. Why its important to know what is happening in other collectibles market trends. We also discuss what's the difference between Organic Scarcity and Manufactured Scarcity in the collectibles world. In part two of our conversation, we talk more about the collectibles market and why it should probably be a regulated market going forward. We also talk about the similarities and issues of all third party grading services in all collectibles.

Shawn is great, love his channel. Great job with the interviews, thoroughly enjoyed them. He is a voice of reason within the collectibles' space, pointing out the dangerous undertow of hype that tends to pull in and drown a lot of newer people (and even those with some experience).

Sean's really been making the interview rounds lately... and I'm here for it. He's great. I was an early subscriber back in 2019. Always enjoy his POV.

Good video. Informative from that guy, never heard of him prior but a lot of what he is saying is echoing what I've been saying here or thought.

I'm not into some of the areas he is though like coins or magic and I never collected video games even though I play them. But right, basically he is saying what I've said the past week+ and some others here have said...

I've seen so much slabbed dog s--- lately it's funny. Base cards slabbed, all these base prizm, silvers of guys who've done absolutely nothing going for chunks of change. Wild. I've said the same thing about pokemon as well, I think there is some legitimacy in the base set and first few sets, 1st editions of those...but the modern stuff woof. Talk about overprinted. Panini same thing. Thanks for the vid.

That was very good, no hype just straight talk.
