Buyer sends offer

I counter

I want to message potential buyer that I also have a few more of this player and maybe we can work a deal.

Any possible way to just message them?

Don't send through ebay. When they pay though you will have their phone number and they will be your customer. Doing it before they pay could be seen by the ebay bots as soliciting an off ebay transaction

Shreve may be right but if you still want to try, I followed this the other day and was able to contact another member... they had bought from me before but the item was too old to message against... not sure if the system takes that into consideration or not.

There is a link / some instructions and I was able to message another member using the "this is not about an item" selection once it starts.

Maybe Im not understanding this, but I think I see where OP is coming from- buyer didnt accept counter, so wont be paying, and OP wants to contact member to spice up the deal.

When a buyer sends an offer, you have their username. Just pull up their profile (go to your own profile page and change your name with theirs in the URL), then there is a link at upper right 'contact member'.

As mentioned, need to be careful with verbiage, but if you wanted to do things legit on ebay, just explain you can set up a new listing with your other cards/deal you are thinking about, and see if they would offer on it.

Yes, this is what I was asking. I don’t see anywhere to do it on the app so I’m assuming I have to do this on desktop?

Yea it's real easy to do on a desktop. Good ol ebay app...not including basic things like 'contact member' on the profile on the app.

If you can only use phone...if you have a browser on it, probably can pull up ebay page on browser, or even just google the username + ebay and see if it comes up. But the way the ebay mobile page works, it still might not work. Ebay to this day is very finicky with desktop/mobile for some reason, some features are there, some arent, and it usually forces you into mobile eventually even if you click "classic desktop" at the bottom of the page.

One way you can do it, is *if* the buyer also sells stuff, just go to their items for sale, ask a question on a random item, even though it's about this deal.

Edit: got it to work this way on the browser on my phone (not the app...the browser):

-go to main ebay page on your browser
-go to very bottom, click on 'Classic site'
-go to top left where it says your profile name, click on that where it says your feedback
-in the URL of the browser, change your name with the buyer username in question
-that pulls up their profile in classic view, 'Contact Member' is at top right.

AS a buyer I have sent messages to sellers. Stating I would not pay that much for that card but if they would made a lot for sale of that player and listed it for sale. I would take a look and see if I was willing to buy. Only one did it and I purchased it.
