Redemption number not taking

So i just pulled the Victor Wembanyama redemotion auto from bowman chrome u and was absolutely shocked and pumped. After taking it in for about an hour I decided to go redeem the card on topps.com as I always do. I tried submitting the code as usual but it wasn't taking and then eventually it said invalid. I went to go look to see if it had been put it open redemptions, but it said nothing. A little concerned I decided to call topps but their customer service is now closed for the weekend. Any thoughts?

Worst case scenario you can always mail in the redemption card itself to be redeemed. I've had to do that in the past as I stupidly scratched too hard resulting in the code itself being illegible.

Yeah it's absolutely way too early to be able to enter a redemption code, at least a week wait. The day Bowman came out I tried entering a Gunnar Hernderson green auto and it said invalid, about a week later it worked.

Yes, Topps redemption codes are often not loaded to the website until 2-3 weeks after the product hits the shelves. No idea why they haven't managed to get that sorted out - they have the full database of codes in hand, since they had to send it to the printer in order to actually make the cards in the first place - but it is what it is.

There's a chance it's not loaded yet. I had an issue with a Topps redemption recently and after talking with customer service, he told me to enter the code but leave the first digit off. For some reason that worked. I'd say give that a try.
