Venmo and their awful customer service with disputes

Anyone have any luck with direct phone contacts with them? Bought unknowingly from Nigerian scammer dude and opened claim since he wasn't shipping and found his pic on ebay. Venmo says internally takes 2 weeks to reply to cases and sellers get 50 days to respond.

Had equally bad experience previous case vs scammer who would only take gift payments and refused to ship or refund. Will be done using their platform after it gets resolved.

I no longer use Venmo.

I truly believe they actually side with scammers. That's part of their business model.

I thought ebay couldn't be topped with some of their clowns in authenticity / feedback but Venmo does in fact top them

Have you ever met Amazon at times especially if you are the seller

But venmos issues are well documented most know you have very little support if something happens. You stated this happened to you before but you made the choice to use it again. Remember many sellers using vendors have likely been booted from PayPal and or ebay for one reason or another.
