View Full Version : eBay listing issue - seems to be player related

I listed 3 Andrew Abbott (baseball prospect called up today to make a start for the Reds) cards late last night, and none of them have shown up on any eBay searches. Zero views on the listings, which has never happened for me for a prospect callup before. Tried re-listing, and also called customer service, but of course they were no help.
Has anyone else encountered this? I listed another card of a different player at the same time I listed the Abbott cards, and the other player/card shows up in searches. A fifth card I listed at the same time as the others sold today.
Never experienced this before, and I list and sell cards daily.
Any help would be appreciated!

If you are searching them in your normal device or on your account it's possible you are being brownouted by the algorithm. Views are often never accurate I have an item right now with 4 watchers and 2 bids showing no views.

Looking more are you sure the listing went through. There has been a few hiccups with listing the past few days that has sent listings to draft instead of listing them

I also searched for the listings from a backup eBay account on a private browser, and it still didn't pull up any of the listings. However, I did register a view of the listing because of manually entering in the URL to view the post from the other account.
I know this is an issue on eBay's end because the other listings I made at the same time are all fine and show up in searches. It's only these Abbott listings that aren't showing up.

I see one Abbott listing on your account. BCA for $50.

Thanks! That one sold very earlu this morning, so apparently it must have finally registered in searches after 24 hours. Very odd.
I re-listed the other two Abbott cards yesterday in the afternoon, so I guess they hopefully will be showing up shortly.

Fairly sure eBay policy mentions it can take up to 24 hours for listings to appear in searches, though I've never personally seen it.
Two active listings and one sold.
Dont believe the views they tell you.
