Question about an eBay Sale

So I’ve bought and sold on eBay for years. Mostly just trading cards. I recently listed a digital camera on eBay. The camera was listed as buy it now or best offer. At about 3:15AM EST someone hit buy it now on my camera. I went to look at where I would be shipping the camera and found out it is a 0 feedback buyer with an account that was created today on the west coast. That means the account was created and the item purchased all within a 15 minute period as the item was purchased at 12:15AM pacific time. Obviously I need to ship this item…it’s just so weird to me that the item was purchased 15 minutes after the creation of this eBay ID and there were a few of the same camera at a slightly lower buy it now price. Should I be worried or is it all good???

Might have been a guest ID checkout. As much as I have done the same thing, worrying about 0 feedback bidders, I can't think of the last issue I actually had with one. Its almost always fine. You can be scammed by a 1,000 feedback bidder just as easily.

Appreciate the reply. Yeah I guess the account creation and purchase all within 15 minutes is the part that worried me the most. I’ve sold to 0 feedback people before because we’ve all been there. Just never had a 0 feedback with an account created and a purchase made all within a 15 minute period.

As crazy as it sounds to us, there are still people who have never shopped on ebay. Maybe your camera was what got them started.:)!

Didn’t know that thanks! Never had an issue with 0 feedback just was a weird situation. Hoping for the best!

No you cannot block buyers based on feedback. You can limit what they buy but not totally block them.

That only works for buyers that have recently bought from you.
