Starred at basketball powerhouse Davidson (!?) and almost helped them reach the Final Four. Lost to the eventual champions. That alone is quite impressive.

Dude barely got scholarship offers and I recall people thinking his 4/44 rookie extension was highly questionable at the time. People forget so easily. I mean the Warriors offered him for Bogut.....

Funny you mentioned 7th pick. He was projected higher but bec of his physique /position to skillset ratio. Scouts, coaches, and experts questioned his success at the nba level. Now, with his accomplishments, accolades, redraft rank, and position among the all-time greats, wouldnt you agree he was underrated?
