Think it was 53 or 57 auctions i won...totally regretted not bringing the truck but i got it all to fit! Dealers estate type auction. Much lower attendance than expected and well unsupervised i got carried away do i could carry it away ;)

Best i can tell things range from 1909 to current. Sports abd nonsports. And about every aspect you could think of...coats, jackets, Jersey's, sealed packs, boxes, singles, sets (my favorite being a 1993 Superbowl stamped beam team winner), even fabric (in a toploader), autographed pucks, baseballs, hats.

Going to take weeks to ger things sorted. Hopefully the vintage i can PC.

Heres that 1993 Stadium Club Superbowl Winning Super Tram Redemption Set.

If it yells you how long it's been i have the Lions Divisional Championship stamped team set too.

If i had the funds id consider sending the entire set off for grading, but even at $15 per and a 500 card set.. that's way to much for this guy! The flags are 1910-1920s (Count the stars ;). Only 48)..some type of tobacco type connection. The bigger ones are like 9*7 but kinda large. The smaller ones are same age range too

Busy last couple if nights (back to back lugnuts games). Sorted and confirmed the sets were complete.

The hockey pack was one lot. Another busy day ..ducks unlimited marsh dedication in Saginaw. .so Tonights fun....snaller auction box...

I saw the UD Authentication Hat and 2016 draft but never looked at the player just have a soft spot for UDA stuff (lets face it memorabilia is kinda cool ;). Well turns not only is a 1/1 but the signature is of Dante Fabbro. While not a huge huge name still a 1st round pick and still with his original draft team. Doesnt state was worn by him not signed draft day but would be extra neat if these were

So i keep digging through the box..got s hobby box (opened) of 2007 Press Pass Football. Almost complete set (2 of 5 short prints, missing maybe 3 base cards). Minor autos: brian leonard silver/200, wynn, and ross copper autos, and a copper red ink of mccauley (248 print run i think).

But also found 4 2004 upper deck national trading card day golf cards: woods, nicklaus, sorenstam, and Garcia. Nice; will be fun to follow along. Those 1910 tobacco premium rugs are usually a low seller. Like $2 each for most countries. Some of them even have swastikas from the time before WWII when they were a Native American symbol. So don't assume they have any relation to Germany if you see them in your felts.

Got through 3+ tubs last night while watching the tigers double header.

This one was the best (pictured below). Kakine autis, fydrich, colavito, rose autos.

The other tubs were exactly kinda as assumed...late 80-90s. Sometimes i wish the box wasnt right...700+ mike Haas (maybe im.the new super collector ;). Little bit of racing, but mostly main four sports. One tub is prepacked grab bags but ill open then and out into sets as i wont trust to sell what i have t done myself.

What is this set worth?

$60+ Depending on where you look. Think last sale was 50+ ship.

But if you look at the Sold PSA Cards you'd swear its worth a lot more!

This is one set Im really hoping I can hold onto as its got enough uniqueness it fits my set building stuff pretty well (even though its not one you would traditional pack build as it was issued in set form only).

How do 700+ (Dave?) Haas 1992 Topps cards even end up together like that? that is absolutely crazy.

Cornering the 92Topps Haas market? of which multiple million exist? Friend or relative? Someone who wanted to see how much of a single random card they could possibly acquire? Did someone take 700+ sets and break them down into 700+ card lots of all the players at some point? It just doesn’t make sense.

It’s fun to see collections…piece together the thought process going on in someone’s mind for the collection to come about.

Back then (and even in the 80s) it was fairly common to buy "bricks" of the same player when prospecting rookies. Usually in stacks of 50, but I remember seeing 800 count boxes full.

Yeah David Haas. He did pitch a no hitter in Lakeland while working his way through the Tigers minor league system.

Most of this has been in at least one dealers hands, maybe several so its really interesting to see what may come up next in the boxes.

They may say something along those lines with my Boggs Hoard :)

Didnt take any photos yesterday, but did manage to find a complete 1986 OPC O Pee Chee Baseball Set (396 cards, not Topps 792) in really pretty good shape too! Next box...complete 1992 Topps Hockey Set. So its total randomness of sorts when I grab a box and see whats in it. Oh yeah 4 large autographed plaques of Robert Fick (1997 Midwest League MVP and the final home run, hit, rbi at Tigers Stadium) - so with this being from western Michigan area; I figure its likely heavier on White Caps and even Red Wings (Griffens their Minor League affiliate is in Grand Rapids). Hey maybe I can get $10 bucks on them who knows :)

So didnt quite finish things up last night tor the tub

The bottom boxes will be gens to slowly go through! None complete but i love the older hockey (for me while this isn't super old, its old enough i have some but not a lot) so if im lucky maybe finish off a set or two and let me work backwards a little bit in those years.

The 1991/92 Score is bilingual - opened but still had a lot of the rookies there (Hasek and others).

The Probert box (1986 traded baseball) has 80% Probert 90-91 Pro Sets and 20% Keith Primeau 90-91 Score American Rookies. The 1993 Action Packed actually full of toploaded singles - most look to have Griffens connections and 19 Sundin rookies (score, pro set, UD, and young stars).

Dud find 90-91 ProSet sets (2 full, missing 2 cards assume error when sorting), the 97/98 Donruss complete (no inserts), 90-91 and 01-02 Topps Sets.

Have a box of 93/94 Premier to still sort.

Well sorry for the lack of updates gang.

Storm ripped through 7 tornados....at least 2 dead i know of and pretty sure a few cows still missing!

We personally went 5 days no power due to TG he damage locally. God bless those lineman! Our house/cars took no damage. Property will be 3+ months of chain saw cutting. Working on it slowly as frankly this ol boy making more money running my saw snd hauling brush and firewood back to my place! So ill have firewood through 2040 at this rate!

Cut two neighbors out of driveway, then the big job was 8+ hours to cut 20+ trees out of the senior couples driveway just to open enough to get them out! Ill head back tomorrow and start on some of the brush clean up for them.

Humn...is a bunch of 1993 Tigers team sets better than a box of 1988 Topps? ;). Matt Noles autographed ball though, looks to be an earlier type sig too.

Opened that fleer box...just one pack inside....

Rest was pretty neat too!

I had setup in Shipshewanna last weekend but didn't do as great as i had hoped, so will have to figure out a different route for the star player type packs. Very limited interest in them there. Not sure i can make ManCave or Grand Rapids shows coming up. Lansing show two weeks ago was a personal disaster due to the storm damage and then having a buddy's puppy hit/killed in front of the house just as the show started....so that was a quick pack up and run home.

The Assenmacher is odd but looking into things his college days were in Grand Rapids so may of been a Whitecaps event guest. Other is a '98 Team Signed Ball.

Hey i did get dome hockey stuff ;). Older Kwings magazine (old enough nice article on Ron Hexall and his working through the minors)

Final photo kinda shows you the bulk of things. Several hockey boxes with base, Red Wings Team Sets, nice 90-91 Fleer Basketball Set (need to confirm but i did see the Jordan). Unopened 88 Donruss Racks and some 87 Topps Cellos w/stars.

So flu bug has mostly left. Got a chance to peek at the last tub.

First row....Hunm potential that looks like 1986 topps football and an 1987 topps baseball (outside has a label saying 1981 fleer ) vending box. Haaaa football is full 87T BB Indians...1987 T BB misc late 80s bb. Littlest box has misc 19-20 Topps BB singles so atleast newer singles for set fillers. 800 ct boxes...4 strikes.... one says 1986 inv...1993 topps (all in order but no Jeters)..second box 1995 topps embossed cards (that wss marked nonsport packs)...last one earky 90s FB Misc.

So...next layer...took me several minutes to get through the duct tape! Really kinda unknown..but at least my eyes spot 1989 Fleer...so i can still hope to find a Treadway! My hopes of a saw cut or other Ripken version are none so if one comes around ill be sure to update! Sleeved cards look like misc 90s quarter bin filler.

Now that Graphic Arts box seems to be the best. Now this may be because i love the old Donruss Puzzles and wish they'd make s comeback. Williams, Cobb, Snider, Gehrig, Aaron sets. Big lot of 1984 Donruss Action All Stars (1 set atleast), and a Donruss Greats Set too! Several big player lots ..that guy Deion ive heard was kinda good ;). Guessing the '85 Stickers isnt a set seems about 150 cards high.

Last row had a 2700 ct box full of players sorted alphabetically but only J-K (last names). Mostly late 80-till early 90s. Last 800 ct box was an incomplete 1990 Topps BB set. No no name, no Bush ;(. But at least the Base Thomas and Griffey are there ;)
