This is the first Jordan RC I have had in hand. Looking for some input as to whether it is authentic from others that have seen many of them, and know the intricacies of the differences between real and fake.

You took some good pics, card is not authentic. One thing that really stands out, among many, is the white border on back…should be white without any printing pixelation.

Also agree and don't believe that the card pictured is authentic.

Need to break out magnifying glass on this one, can you make it bigger?

Looks authentic but of course not a Jordan RC which is 84 Star
If anything I suspect left/right trimming

Anyway I wouldn't buy anything over $25 or so that isn't professionally graded, much less 100x that amount

Sorry about the size….didn’t realize they would be that freakin big. Lol. Should have resized them.

Looks like printed with an inkjet printer. The black and yellow border around the blue area with his name doesn't look right. There should be a gap between were the photo is visible.

I wish there was enough on the inter-webs identifying fake MJ 86s. Yes, absolutely 100% legit though. I'll actually send you $5000 for it but I have to send a $10,000 check. I just need you to wire me $5000 cash Western Union to make up the difference.

Ask yourself, why would someone have a pristine Jordan RC that’s ungraded and you have your answer whether it’s authentic.
Pretty much a 0% chance anyone would have this card raw in this condition

I can barely see it on my 100" LCD. Please make bigger.

Riddle solved. 10 seconds.
Please Allah: for all that is good and sacred on this terrestrial orb - create a forum sticky to alert people not to buy raw 57's unless it's close fam or platonic high school bff where you can definitively track its historical provenance from pack to soft sleeve.
The 3 inch screwdown craigslist folklore has worn its welcome.

The card texture looks almost like a carpet. Like the photo was taken in dark environment. Hard to tell anything. Some fake signs could be from bad image quality

consider that you call this non-Star-101 card the Rookie Card. How else/much might you be in over your head on this?
jcardstore asks just the right question: who would buy this card, or any other card remotely close in market value, unslabbed?
a fool, that's who
third-party grading is the worst, except for the alternative
