What are the pros/cons of COMC vs. Ebay?

Kind of a two pronged question...

What are the pros/cons of COMC and what are the biggest differences between COMC and Ebay?

I am not at all familiar with COMC and only know Ebay....


Is there a way to see past sales on COMC?

COMC = I can send 500 cards for $100 and they can list them all !

Here are some pros and cons for COMC that I can think of off the top of my head

Pros
They do the scanning and listing for you
Good customer service
They don't fee you to death
Can use balance on Blowout to get boxes/cases
Buyers are usually more knowledgeable

Cons
Cards are no longer in your possession
Chance of damage due to multiple shipping (you to COMC, COMC to buyer)
Over all they cost more than eBay to cash out
not quite the exposure that eBay has

BUT

The cards you send to COMC are usually cards you would never sell on ebay. I would say thats at least 85%-90% of the cards on COMC

I need to get a shipment in to COMC myself

This CON isn't true. You aren't responsible for the shipment from COMC to the buyer.

Other Pros:

If you sell 100 cards on COMC, you don't have to package 100 different shipments. Very easy to use. When I sold on Ebay for ten years, I became an expert scanner/lister/shipper. Point being, you only ship once and COMC does all the shipping to the buyers. Now over the past three years, I'm able to spend my time COLLECTING instead of being a shipping expert.

No Waiting on payments:

On ebay, it seemed on a regular basis I had to remind buyers to pay. When you sell on COMC, the funds are immediately available to purchase other cards on the site. So I'm no longer a DEBT collector :)

Consistant Scans:

You get what you see on COMC. No more EBAY disappointments to find light creasing, poor corners, etc. that wasn't visable on an ebay listing.
