Need help identifying this artist.

Hi folks. I'm new to this forum and was directed here by another group of people. I hit this 1/1 Captain America sketch card from Marvel Beginnings and the artist (for whatever reason) didn't sign the back of it. Ultimately I'd love to be able to track down the artist and see if he's ok with me sending to him to sign but I'll take just knowing who it is for now. Any ideas??

If you look on the back of the card, in the lower right you will see MB-77. My understanding is that this is a unique code given to each artist, so that's probably your best lead.

I took a look through all of the sketches I could find out on EBay right now and none of them had MB-77 as the code. I did see several examples where the same artist had the same unique code, so I do believe it is true that this code will identify the artist.

Once e-pack is out (think maybe a month or so for MBV2) you should have a lot of images to go through and can probably find other sketch cards with MB-77 on them.

If you're still wondering, I am pretty sure it's Keith Akers. There is another on e-Pack with MB-77 and no signature that UD has classified as Keith Akers
