Can anyone please tell me the history behind the missing name cards found in 1993/94 Fleer Ultra?

I see some for sale on eBay. What do you think this MJ might be worth? Thanks.

Missing name... that is an interesting question.

True foil color variation (not talking shades of gold/bronze) I would rate as high as anything, because it follows a recognized collecting template known as rainbow (back then it was often the foil, not the entire card, that was colored differently).

Missing the name might be a little niche. Ideally you want a different version, when it comes to multiprocess cards, not the lack of something (aesthetics rule over all... some cards full bleed, with no foil, would be amazing).

Frank Thomas, on traditional crd stock, was a print design error and thus different.

I would say send it to CSG anyway and have them be the grading company to build up a niche basketball error graded register.

It's not uncommon for foil to fail to print on common.

However, I'd expect someone to pay more for it since it's Jordan, but no idea how much.
