I have 2 NBA Steal leagues looking for members. Details are below

1) this is 1st yr league and will be a keeper league. It is h2h points league. The uniqueness of this league is that the winner gets to Steal 1 player from their opponent. Every team gets to protect 2 players a week. This is FREE and 12 team.

2. This is same as above but costs $30 paid thru league safe. This is also a 12 team league

I run this route of league for every sport if interested in other sports let me know..

can you explain the "steal" aspect? At face value it makes no sense.

It's not uncommon for the best team to win all or most of the games and if you get to take your opponents 3rd best player each week the team with the best record at the end of the regular season is all but guaranteed to win the title because they will have all the best players.

So each week the winning team gets to steal a player from the opponent they faced. But each week a team can protect 2 players of any position. The winner in exchange to steal must give a player of that same position. SO if i beat my opponent and if i steal a PG i must give him a PG back.

So you would think that the best team always win but that is not the case even in baseball or football. It just takes 1 injury for the week or day to cause even the best team to win. A prime example is this week in my PAID STEAL league i was favored by 200 points and i ended losing to the last place guy. I had Purdy and David montgermy both crap the bed with montgermy getting injured. so he ended stealing Purdy and gave me D. Jones back.

So in basketball if u have Jokic and he sits or gets innjured that is a big part of your points and that could scue the matchup. So with 6 team winning each week there is likely that top teams face each other. I have the free league available with 2 keepers going forward. You could always join that and if u like it join money in coming years as they are not keeper leagues

I mean, I understand that "anything can happen" and freak injuries and random stuff occasionally happens but there's significantly less variance in basketball vs football from game to game.

There's a big difference in playing 1 game per week vs players playing up to 4 games a week.

It's really not about the money and I wouldn't be interested in a free league for anything anyways. I just see this inevitably ending up with 1 or 2 teams at the end having every good player and there being no point to play for most of the league near the end. I don't see how this could be a competitive league.
