Hi all. Hope the weekend is going well.

Setting up at my first show in years and curious of best strategies as well as feedback on my plans:

(1) Display case of 35 or so cards $150-$2k
(1) 3-row box of $0.50-$5 cards
(1) 2-row box graded cards $10-$125

Is it worth doing $0.50 cards?

Are the below examples best in a $0.50 OR $1 box?

Definitely worth doing .50 boxes...I would say most of those are .50 very few would be $1 but then again I price cards inexpensive....Unless it is one of the big shows(National, Dallas, Chantilly etc..) you will probably not sell any cards over 1k...My experience showcase better for $50- $500 cards.

.50 boxes if you have other sports besides football.

Those are $0.50 box cards. Don’t take this the wrong way, but if I see those in a $1 box, then I go to the next dealer.

Yeah most of those would go in my quarter box. And agree, if I'm looking at a $1 box and seeing lots of base rookies of minor stars from low-end sets I'm not gonna spend much time there. Too many other better boxes to dig through.

Thanks for the feedback all. Going to throw these in a $0.50 box and offer 3 for $1 to make them go fast.

I'm not a show seller but I feel like the point of the . 50 box isn't to make money. It's to get people at your table so maybe they buy more expensive and attract others. That's why you give deals on the cheap stuff.

The point of a 50 cent box is no move junk that is a pain in the arse to sell elsewhere. The stuff in there should be captivating enough to get someone to by a few or more. Think items that are on COMC in the $1.50-$2.50 range. It's a mild deal for the buyer and the seller moves the stuff without any additional overhead. A win-win. The cards in your pictures seemingly fit the bill though some are probably even better suited in a quarter box. Get some sleeves on those things because they will get a lot of handling at a typical show. The corners will be shot by end of show without them.

I've made a living off of selling .25/.50/$1 stuff at shows the last 2 years.

Thanks! Yes, I’ve decided to push them all as a quarter box to help get rid of as much as possible. They are in sleeves - just had to still prep everything.

Doing the following boxes:

$0.25
$1-$3 box (using color coded stickers over the top to easily view)
$5-$50 box

Display case will be $50-$1000

Any other recommendations are appreciated.

Maybe offer bulk lots. Great way to get rid of commons you don't want.

Or lots in team sets bags. (star on top/bottom)

I've made a living off of selling .25/.50/$1 stuff at shows the last 2 years.

Any advice on selling these? Maybe tied to showcase or presentation?

Asking cause I’ve started to sell at shows last couple months and especially last few shows very very few people are even looking through my $1 box. I’m talking not even pick up a stack to look through so I know it’s not about the card quality. I have a big sign labeling “$1 each - by sport”, I even note on the paper bulk deals at 60 cents per. All cards penny sleaved. 20% toploaded.

I think it’s just a crapshoot. The ones that do glance typically buy something.

My advice to OP - as others said most of those are tough for $1 but some could move for 50 cent-one dollar range. I quickly found people always want cards for less than what you price them at. So my $1 box is really 60 cents box cause I offer 15 cards for 10, etc. I try to only have superstar, non common rookies, parallels, inserts. Just ask yourself “is there a fan out there going through this box that would buy this?” If not don’t put it in there.
