Got this at a card show today…
No foil or fleer on front ; is this a promo or error or a misprint ?
Never have seen a 96-97 card like this ; only sprite or the regular foil embossed ones .. card is standard size too.

Just a missing foil printing error. But since it's Jordan, it's probably worth something. See what you can get for it on an ebay auction starting at 99cents.

Eye test says mistake, not variation. All the components are not there. Probably cut with scissors, but even if not, it's never gonna get graded as anything but base. Hard pass. Except the aesthetics. I'd say $40, $50 trade.

I mean, non player affiliated jerseys on cards are a mistake, if you get right down to it.

It was very common and really still is for card sheets to miss the foil overlay process and still be packed out. However, this being Jordan, it's worth more than normal.

Your whole post was insinuating it doesn't mean much ... But you think it's worth 10x the base version? If I was the OP I'd be happy to get $20 out of it; it's just a novelty, would probably get just a few dollars in auction like the base would.

Any chance to get way more than that, would be doing a buy it now best offer.

Aesthetics man. Look of the card and feel. There may be hundreds of this, but there are hundreds of thousands of base.
