Found these in my grandpa's collection, all are the full foil versions, this is 20/30 of the set 👍👍

Seems that they don't show up very often due to rarity, super neat. Showing off and am curious if anyone collects these, I wonder how many complete sets are out there.

Interesting. That’s a prime piece of info usually omitted when these get shown off. The oft-cited player specific pack odds should come with a giant asterisk.

Otherwise, getting this far along into the set around the time of release with actual pack pulled copies would’ve been some miracle work.

Congrats. I have been chasing this set for almost 10 years. I've been buying these individually over those 10 years so most likely all pack pulled.
I'm currently at 28 of 30 and only need Anfernee Hardaway and Jordan to complete the set. Let me know if you are interested in selling the Anfernee. It would really help me out in my pursuit of completing this crazy set.

The more pressing question is how do we know if any given copy is pack pulled vs Home Shopping Network imposter.

The 1994 SP Behind the Glass set has it and so do 30 of the 1998 MJ Tribute/Reflections Set and you can get them for a fraction of Game Dated Moments.

A brief search online, and this was, since it came out, a confusing insert. I find it odd grading companies would even be mislabeling them. Look at the Jones, Drexler, Walker and Olajuwon. They’re the most obvious.

Thanks, yea I can see the foil in those pics. I think if I held it in hand it would be much more obvious. I would ask in turn where Beckett is getting the info on odds since Im naturally a skeptic, but I finally found a pic of the back of a pack of 1997-98 UD S1. That's GD outrageous lmao (should be 10x'd at least). I pursued these foil versions as a ten year old buying the retails packs on the shelves of my local Walmart. I probably bought over a hundred packs during my childhood. Never pulled one, but as an adult, I'd love to pick up an MJ. They are just grossly overprized everytime I see one pop up on the Bay. Hopefully you sell the Penny to the other Blowout member above, he deserves to get it for putting in the work these last 10 years!

Plus you factor in the supposed home shopping network ones out there, if they are the same. The lacking serial number on a 90s insert has to be a hit against it I imagine.

What's crazy is this has taken me longer than baseball set 1995 Score Gold Rush Redeemed/Stamped cards. That has 330 cards including the checklists and anyone that knows about those cards knows that its an almost impossible set to complete.
That one took me only 8 years.

Those kind of things you just dont forget. Im surprised it was only twice during all those years though...the feedback system helped big time, but still.

Yep I started in early 2000. I go back and am amazed I didn't get burned more. The two I specifically remember was for a 2002-03 SP Game Used Box and a SPX Amare Stoudemire Auto/Jersey (for some reason, on the Amare, I still remember the name of the seller all these years later..Ken Paul, lol)
