The black lazer is a nice add for jumbo, but the price is still crazy. Think I’ll end up pulling the trigger despite my better judgement, some fun stuff to chase in this compared to previous years.

Chrome is my yearly go to and haven't opened a case in I want to say 2 years so I pulled the trigger on a Hobby case. That and Dynasty will probably be the only sealed purchases I make this year and I highly doubt I even open the Dynasty.

IMO not worth it if you're chasing for certain player auto. chances of and cost of getting them, I rather get it as single from whatnot, ebay etc.

but if collecting as a set, it looks better and feel premium than matchattax and the likes or if you like the chase and money is not an issue, then go for it :D

One thing that looks really good for the jumbo is the black laser auto checklist is smaller and much more densely packed with good names.

It's chrome lettering, set into a recess. It's absolutely horrific. I don't know who they have designing their cards these days but it certainly wasn't someone that studied art and design past grade school.

Breaker Delight is just what it says, a breaker product as they will likely contain Two Autographs, Six Refractor Parallels, Three Numbered Base Cards, and One Youthquake Insert if they have the same format as Baseball in 2023. It's just so they don't have to mess with a ton of base cards. Cost is likely around $200 a box.

I believe anyone can buy "Breaker's Delight" boxes and breakers in their basement will pay the same as you and I, those with LCS/distribution will likely jus save the same amount they would on regular/jumbo

Based on other products Breakers Delight and Hobby are roughly the same price. As was referenced above, Hobby has 20 packs per box, Jumbo has 12 packs per box and Breakers Delight has 1 pack per box. Based on the prices referenced in the first link ($190 for Hobby and we can assume BD) and Jumbo (450) against those pack counts and pack odds for a superfractor, you'd have to spend the amounts below on average to hit a superfractor:
Hobby - $200,000
Jumbo - $278,000
Breakers - $143,000 (if the price of BD were set to = Hobby, that price would be $266 per box for reference)

Who knows if truly sold out (seems unlikely) but they catered to bulk buyers today. Hobby cases sold out in 10 min or less but they were letting you buy 10 cases at a pop.

Well, I've already received offers on the Ribery around $200, so that takes a bit of the blow out of it. Pre-sale price was $460 (created a burner email to use the 10% off code), but still on the ridiculous side. Never really spend that much ripping ever, so figured why not just as a one-off thing to chase some Yamal and maybe some other Barca parallels.

I've noticed Chinese sellers on eBay have been listing a ton of chrome and select parallels. They must be the only ones buying and keeping box prices high.

The Shadow Etch case hit is overprinted. You can hit them in both Hobby & Jumbo even though the odds do not show up for Jumbo boxes.

I've come to the conclusion they are probably sourcing these from match day staff, and very likely they have nothing at all to do with players.

I think I may be done with it, for a while at least. It's depressing, with zero redeeming qualities at all right now.

I ripped some Star Wars chrome yesterday just to get something that felt like a I wouldn’t get crushed based on the price and likely return. Did really well so that worked out! :cool: Soccer boxes right now, I think we just need to stay away from. It’s overprinted and just so incredibly out of whack with the singles market and the low general public interest in collecting soccer cards. Normally I try to get products on release day and grind out base card listings quickly to make a nice percentage back so that I’m not completely dependent on the hits. It has been the best way I’ve found to tackle the gap and be able to afford to get some PC stuff. With soccer right now, even grinding doesn’t typically work out very well.

THIS is why it's terrible to buy products for the going price. So many good singles you can buy for the amount of a hobby box. Topps has a few products left to release (stadium club, merlin, etc.) before singles prices go down even further due to supply.

It went faster than usual because they let you buy multiple cases in an order and 10 loose boxes at a time. Was always going to sell out fast but those limits made it go even faster.

Hard to say. Typically majority is allocated to US. Most us buyers I know passed on the Europe boxes based on price and waited for us.

Price. Europe is higher on every topps product. UK was £400 which is over $500 US.
