This auction has been extended for 90 mins b/c I'm scrambling trying to understand the value. I'm baseball cards only, so this is new territory for me.

Any help on potential value or how I can figure it out? I've done a bunch of searches on ebay, terapeak, 130point, google search, etc. and I'm still clueless.

Any help greatly appreciated!

I’m a marvel guy and don’t follow the DC sketch card scene, so keeping that in mind..

It’s a cool looking puzzle sketch with lots of characters, but $1.2k seems kinda high. I also totally don’t get grading sketches, and this might top the cake being a graded puzzle sketch set meaning the slabs prevent you from connecting the image to display the art as intended. I guess I don’t get it. I wonder why the middle Superman piece got a PSA 2, so low compared to the others (not that it matters). But from the front I don’t see why that happened.

$1.2k is getting up there for a sketch card price though. Not often do sketches get into those amounts, usually it takes a pretty famous artist or high end quality photo-realist artwork etc. Maybe someone with more experience in this specific DC set can chime in.

His highest sales on Marvel cards listed on COMC were $350 for a Wolverine sketch from 2020. This one's pretty cool, but I wouldn't have expected it to eclipse $1,000.

Sorry to be slow to respond.
You were fine to pass; this is not worth more than $1,000 to most people.

The value is that Eric Ninaltowski is the short print artist. [He only drew 30 cards.]
A collector was probably chasing this to finish their set.
