Would you pay the going rate for his RC?

Let's talk about this.

Let's talk about this.
"And being 35 years old, looks like there still a lot in the tank."
Shouldn't it be "there's" or "there is"?
"Currently since the winning the World Series, the majority of his card sold, have been Buy It Now, and selling for almost 3x at $185-200+."
You can take out one of the "the" in the first part, or add "of" before the second "the".
You might go with "cards sold" as well. You have an odd double space in there too.
"However, seeing how stacked the Dodgers and the willingness that owner has to spend in free agency, I would not be surprised to see the Dodgers back in the World Series next year..."
Lets add "are" after the first mention of Dodgers.
You might change owner to ownership or mention the majority owner by name after "owner".
Just suggestions. SI has never published anything I wrote. To be fair, however, I don't write articles.

I'd rather talk about your other article and being upset that Leaf put a current popular influencer in a pop culture product.
Just throwing this out there, but not all cards are sports cards.

That article is hilarious given that their Pop Century offering isn't a sports product, but the OP seemingly has no issue with the Mets having her throw out the first pitch at a game.
OP, good on you for getting articles published, but the lack of editing/proofreading hurts my brain.

I'm more upset about the lie Russ told in that article.

You would be hard pressed to find anyone else(*) with the resume he has that's not in the Hall of Fame and he's signed through 2027 to keep adding to it. Per Silent George's HOF Tracker, around 50 WAR is the average HOFer. He's surpassed that by a lot. Add on the World Series MVP and historical significance, he's already a lock IMO.

Before looking that up I had no idea Barry had that many MVP's. Roids or not that's impressive. I mean it's not like he was the only one on the sauce back then.

Yeah, he was pretty good. Haha. So was Alex Rodriguez and a plethora of other players accused of PED's. In time the ship will be righted.

Listen man, SI got busted not too long for having AI write stories (complete with fake reporter bylines)…
So let me say, speaking as a media professional and a journalism professor…. I am glad to see that an actual human wrote an article. (Also, how’d you score the gig, and how can I do so as well?)

Write or written can be correct, but not wrote. It just depends on whether you’re emphasizing the story or the action of writing it. Let’s just assume he meant write and move on.

No, don't assume that I meant "write."
In the context of the sentence "I am glad to see that an actual human wrote an article," "wrote" is the correct past tense form of the verb. "Write" would be incorrect because it is in the present tense. "Written" could have worked if I added an auxiliary verb ("has written.")
Nice try, though.
Actually, terrible try. Do better next time.

Hall of very very good. Very unlikely he gets to 3000 hits or 500 hr. 1 MVP and 1 GG. But he's definitely better then Harold Baines so anything is possible. His cards will be back to normal prices in the office season so I wouldn't buy anything now.

Last time I checked, which was a couple days ago, there are no numerical requirements to make the HOF other than 10 years in the bigs.
There's 27 HOFers with 3,000 hits and 19 with 500 HR (and some of those are the same hitters). It's almost like those numbers don't really determine who makes it in and who doesn't.
Freddie is getting in. And realistically should be first ballot.

He's only got one MVP, but he's been Top 10 eight different times. I'm guessing there aren't too many players (outside of PED reasons) with that many top 10 MVP finishes who aren't in the HOF.
His career isn't over either. He's going in, the only question is whether it's first ballot or not.

He already has 60 WAR, an MVP, a WS MVP, and is likely to add 8-10 more WAR before retirement. The only thing stopping him from getting in is a Pete Rose or Wander Franco level scandal

I like this. I am personally a no on Degrom. 2x cy young award winner...and a few all stars. He had a 4-5 year run, which he was a top 5 pitcher probably. But there isnt much more to his resume. Now that he is 36, cant imagine there is much left.
