Category 1: Contenders

These are the legitimate Super Bowl contenders. These teams will beat the "They Belong" and "Fraud" teams. These teams will only lose to other contenders.

Category 2: They Belong

These teams aren't winning the Super Bowl, but they will put up a fight and won't lose in a blowout.

Category 3: Frauds

These teams don't belong in the playoffs and will get blown out.

I made the thread more so in response to the fact that "fraud (https://www.blowoutforums.com/search.php?searchid=50165625)" and "don't belong (https://www.blowoutforums.com/search.php?searchid=50165618)" have been used over 100 times in the last month here on Blowout in regards to NFL and NCAA playoff teams.

If a team goes through an 18 week season, they earned their place. The ones that use the term fraud loosely I tend not to take seriously.

I agree with this posters rankings for the most part. Anything can happen but this is more likely.

Added a category- the "wild Card" Broncos- a team that most experts thought would be a 6 win team, and they care entering the playoffs on fire and the D is legit. Nix is a playmaker, and while I am not calling a won against the Bills, they match up well, and I think it's a good game. This is a playoff contender for years to come, move over KC.



My prediction is a Bills Lions Super Bowl, or at least I'd like to see that one

Honestly curious, what's the Eagles' glaring issue? And don't give me raw passing numbers since they have the #1 rushing attack. They've lost one game in 13 weeks playing their backup QB on a last-second pass.

It tells me on any given Sunday(Or Saturday) anything can happen including this Sunday in Buffalo. But I also know that on any given games(most games in fact) that Bucs secondary is going to get torched by whatever QB they are facing.

Sorry, just revisiting this now. It's Hurts and Sirianni. It showed today. Hurts nearly got AJ killed then almost got Smith beheaded a few plays later. Then up 13 they let LA go right down the field and then the ridiculous 2nd down pass call trying to kill the clock. Most Philly fans will have the same reasons.

You may not know this [obviously you're ignorant of the facts here] but Sirianni isn't the playcaller. Kellen Moore is. And yes, that was a bad play call.

1st down inside the 10 by Goedert comes back because Becton is a moron and leaves way early to block nobody downfield.
Automatic Shove TD at the 1" line moved back 5 yards because Lane false-started.
An OL holding moved them back out of FG range in H1.

The D gave up 2 TDs at home, and got 2 turnovers, which will pretty much win you any playoff game, and guess what? It did, even with all the above mistakes and our K missing 2 XPs, which is clearly the most concerning thing about the Eagles' chances right now, assuming Jalen is healthy.

If he's not then we might not win, obv. Nobody knows his injury status yet.
