These cards don't have much value now... will have almost none once the licensed/logo Topps stuff starts coming out in a year.

They don't need the money. They can make the real team/league logo Topps soon enough - 2025 and beyond.

Maybe it's a "practice run" for the Topps production team print shops and photographers and etc? (in which case they should just make them and then incinerate this nonsense... instead of selling it)

The Topps Finest Football that existed 2015 and prior was much different than modern day Finest.

I loved the old texture and details given to the surface of the cards (embossing, dots, etc.). They're just too smooth (looks cheap to me) with random swirls and graphics for no reason. Just my personal take.

I prefer the team logos but these cards are not unlicensed, i.e., no trademarks are violated. The Football cards Topps released between 1971 and 1981 were pretty much the same.

I hate the 2024 Finest design. One of the worst they've ever done. $240 per box and it will still sell out before anyone here can buy any. I'll be curious to see how they price Chrome and Finest next year when they have licenses. It will probably be on par with Prizm prices

You're correct. I thought this was pre order but it looks like. It's a available on Topps site. Definitely not as popular as the WWE and X Men releases. Lots of good autos to chase in the NFL I'm not a fan of unlicensed products but the football looks a lot better then the basketball ones.

I think you have unlicensed & unauthorized confused. They dont mean the same thing.

These have no logos, as they are unlicensed. If they had the rights to the logos, they would be licensed.

If Topps didnt have the right to the players (they do) then producing these cards would be in violation of the NFLPA.

I really like the Team Finest insert in the set. Think these look better than the Topps Chrome release.

I am curious to know how the Stroud Mercury set came to land in Finest. Was it supposed to be a standalone set, similar to the Wemby release, but that plan was abandoned so they decided to put it in Finest?

Cases are pretty loaded for the price. Nice correlation of starts as most deliver 5-8 star cards per case. But I still can’t touch the stuff until I see the logos.
