Always liked Phoenix. If H2 boxes stay under $200 I may snag one or two.

Not excited by any releases knowing you are not getting QB autos for most of the top rookie QBs, but Phoenix does have some nice cards

Rookie cards have the team names underneath, vet cards don't. Mildly interesting.

Smallish set... neither low end nor high end. It's basically a lamer and lower print runs version of Donsuss Elite or something (many numbered cards/inserts). But every set has its fanclub.

It's better than Illusions, but that's not saying much.

It's hard to find comps on Phoenix cards typically. I'm sure it's dead after Fanatics/Topps take the license.

Ran into a restock at my local Walmart and they were overflowing with Phoenix Megas and blasters.

No prizm and only Optic fat packs for $18 (keep smokin the good stuff Walmart).

I grabbed 4 megas just to scratch the itch.
Two megas in and it's been a blood bath, hopefully it gets better with the last two.

They are really nice looking cards though...

Phoenix is the one I’m going for this year due to being priced out of the good stuff. The Penix red is a beautiful card. I know I won’t get any of the low numbered ones but I’ll try to complete it up the ones numbered /50 or more.

Trying to find a Purple Lazer and Orange Hyper of Penix. Are these just hard to pull?
