Vanishing Ebay listing?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, please redirect if necessary. In 20yrs of buying/selling cards on EBay I can’t say that I remember ever experiencing this. There WAS a 2024 Topps Chrome Devin Leary /2 Auto Rc listed at auction. He’s someone I collect and flip. I placed my max bid when the moment it went live a week ago. Today I was watching the auction with <3min left. It was sitting at around $89 (my max was a LOT higher). I assumed I’d win it so I walked away . I looked 20-30min later and poof. It’s gone. From what I can see on my eBay page, I didn’t get outbid, I didn’t get a notification of the listing being removed, it just vanished. No trace that I can find of a completed, sold or incomplete listing, Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks in advance for your help,

I think this may happen if the seller deletes their account.

I think this may happen if the seller deletes their account.

But why….this wasn’t a Multi-thousand $$ card.

I had an auction close out with bids tonight, but received no initial notification from eBay....and the card went into my "Unsold" items. It sat there for about 2 hours....I received no notice from eBay that the card sold, and no notice to relist....just limbo. Roughly 2 hours after the close I did receive the normal notice from eBay....in 26+ years and over 200,000 transactions, that has never happened to me before. Maybe your situation will self correct like mine did.

When I woke up this morning, the card I had bid on now shows up in the “got away” section of Bid/Offers. I checked for a few hours yesterday.
