What are the top choices for cases out there? I've tried some Amazon know offs and more known brands like BCW and Ultra. I find the knock offs to not be as good for one touch in particular. Top loaders are certainly nicer from Ultra vs. BCW, but I don't notice a massive difference in quality between Ultra and BCW for one touch, despite the near doubling in price for Ultra.

What are thoughts? Are there better protection ideas vs. one touch?

Thanks!

I won't comment on what the best brands are but only wanted to mention that I've seen one-touches that fit penny sleeves in them and I think those are pretty cool.

Pro Mold one touches (the ones that fit penny sleeves) are my go-to for PC cards and BCW and Ultra Pro for top loaders, but I'll use a variety of brands. I am super picky about penny sleeves though and will only use Ultra Pro ones and the first thing I do after receiving a card through the mail is rehome it in a new penny sleeve. Too many brands will stick to cards (chrome ones especially) and the Ultra Pro ones are the only ones I'm reasonably confident about.

Pro Mold are the best mags. They make snap ones now that are cheaper.....
They are SUPER clear....

Ultra Pro is ehhh...just not as clear....

The new thing is graded card style mags, which you can make a label like psa, or custom......
Pro mold has them now and Mag Pro...both SUPER CLEAR....

Ultra Pro is dead to me.

Side note....they also make magnetics and such that fit penny sleeves and such...I hate them.... too many layers of plastic.....makes a card dull and bland...may as well have it in a BGS case...

I like CardShellz toploaders and sleeves. Best around. I think they make One Touch holders too but I have not tried those.

I am mostly Pro Mold for mags and toploaders both these days. Ultra pro for penny sleeves and 9-pocket platinum pages. BCW for white storage boxes.

I prefer the Pro Mold magnetic with sleeve version. I do not like a bare card in a one-touch, it just seems prone to damage when moving the mag around, but who knows.

GTI has passed pro mold as the best.

ive been curious about GTI. what is the sizing of the mags? bigger than ultra pro? the same?

I was curious about the cardshellz ones but they are larger. Just being OCD about the sizing of my stuff lol.

I have tons of Pro Mold and yes I know they are their own unique size

For top loaders and penny sleeves, I have been happy with the Penny Sleever. Zion Magpros for my one touches. Love those cases! Superior fit sleeves to protect all my plastic with more plastic. :)

Pretty comparable sizewise to pro mold. The thing I like is the clearness and they have a protective film you pull off. Almost all of my recent pro molds have had scratches, even broken tabs. The GTI are much clearer. The best part is that the sleeves are much better sized than the gen 2 and 3 pro molds. I don’t feel like I’m forcing the card into the GTI penny sleeves, but they are also not overly big.

Thanks for the info. And yes, one of the reasons I was looking to move off Pro Mold was the reasons you stated. Also I had to batch of Pro Molds where all the sleeves were bent due to packing error (the rectified this for free though to their credit)

Pro mold to their credit is always very willing to make things right it’s just usually not worth the hassle of having to send stuff back. I’m halfway through my first box of the GTI 35-55 mags and have been really impressed.

As an FYI, Ultra Pro is releasing a one touch with soft sleeve here within a few weeks. It's called Ultra Pro One Touch X.
