Really excited for all these guys (Shedeur, Hunter, Webster, Horn, and Sheppard), to see where they go, and to see what they do. As a CU alumnus, I could finally smile! Now to add to CU collection....
P.S. Shilo is not good.

Sanders the next Trey Lance.I'd say David Carr, based on sack numbers....
I doubt any team is crazy enough to start Shedeur right away, though. He's likely a 2nd or 3rd rounder who sits a year or two. Teams have seen how bad it goes on mediocre QBs from smaller schools who get started right away (Zach Wilson, Levis, Howell, Pickett, Ridder, etc etc).
Heck, most of the QBs from top ranked schools and pro style offense can't hack it at NFL level.
Get ready for Bronny 2.0 with Sanders.... stories and interviews every time he stumbles or a reporter questions the kid. No thanks

Sanders biggest issue is his decision-making. There are way too many instances where he is holding onto the ball for 6+ seconds. This tends to always be the downfall of college QB's making the transition to the much faster pace of the NFL.

His WR1 won a Heisman. Most accurate QB in college last year and the OL was patchwork both seasons in Colorado. Great pedigree and natural born leader. Cerebral franchise QB that will change locker room culture instantly.
1st round pick all day.
If, ala Geno, he starts to slip into the late night Dallas will trade up and he'll be a COWBOY by the morning. Then it will be on. :)!

Ok, stay calm. Some bad analysis right here for all to witness. Lets move on. Who else sees this?

100% spot on. He has to get rid of it. He was not fast enough to scramble like he did in college in many instances and certainly won’t be in the NFL.
I'd say David Carr, based on sack numbers....
That is who i came up with when i was thinking about comps.

Isn't it funny how Derek Carr also takes a lot of sacks? Runs in the family

for QB's, processing speed is probably the most important trait. At the D1 level, the vast majority have at least passing arm strength and mobility. it is making the transition to the league and only having 2.5-3.25 seconds on average to make the decision that separates the great from the good.

Leadership is the most important trait for a NFL QB because it can't be taught. Players only fight for things they believe in.
Nobody says this, but Sheduer has practiced/played against a generational CB talent for over 4 years straight. Why doesn't Sheduer throw INTs? Why is he so accurate?
Because he had to beat Travis Hunter on coverage. I think processes defenses just fine.

good point on practicing against Hunter. That only helped Sanders.
I disagree about the leadership part. we all learn leadership at some point in our development. Tom Brady was not always the leader he was during the 28-3 SB against Atlanta. He developed that over time. He watched and learned during pee wee play, middle school, high school, college and the pros. It was not born into him.
It is the same reason there are so many leadership seminars throughout the country so that young execs can develop those skills. If Sanders does not have good leadership skills now, it surely is something he can develop over time.
