Has anyone framed some of the images?

If so, would you mind sharing what frame you used?

Thanks!

I've wondered the same thing! I'll be curious as to the responses you get.

Many Michael's arts & crafts shops have an in store framing shop that custom frames for literally any size picture. You should check them out.

Custom framing is extremely expensive though. Better off finding a standard size frame for $10 and making it work one way or another.

Aren’t they roughly 5x7? Just find a frame you like at Hobby Lobby, getting it custom framed seems like overkill.

I have these similarly sized oversized 5 x 7 Topps wrappers (1970’s) simply placed and spaced (mostly) evenly in a precut matted frame. They are just placed, not taped or glued in any way. They have stood the test of time over many years on display. Frames I picked up at Michael’s at the time, but Hobby Lobby might be a good place to look. These were not custom…just premade, pre matted frames. The mat on these happens to be burlap because I liked the look.

This is nice. I'd be worried about too much light exposure on that auto.

There’s a seller called hardball34 on ebay who sells good quality holders for oversized or multi card arrangements. They aren’t cheap plastic, it’s a hard acrylic holder w/ UV protection.

They are more “holders”, not so much “frames”. But in some ways that’s nice if you don’t want to take up the extra space with a whole frame.

If the box topper you refer to is actually 5x7, this would fit it. The screws that come with it I’m pretty sure are black, despite the pic, and go well with black border choice.

Can put them in toploaders and then tape that into place in any frame with matting.

Yea they present nice- I‘ve bought a lot off him for my oversized 5x7 sketch cards from marvel etc, they are high quality. Nice how you can choose the color border to color match the team/what’s on the card. Only thing to keep in mind is the screws are always black, despite what’s shown in the pic. So if you ordered a white border holder it would have black screws. This is why in some ways just the black border is ideal since it hides the screws.

Edit: sorry not baseball, but here’s a couple of mine. First one is a 4 card puzzle sketch so is 5x7.

I too have bought a lot of cases off of him and love the look. He will also cut custom sizes for you. I have two on the way for the Stadium Club Triumvirates team cards.

If you want to preview what the images would look like framed, you can go to a site like American Frame (https://www.americanframe.com/print/print-frame), upload a picture and play around with different frames and mats.

I also collect concert posters and while I leave the larger, expensive stuff to professionals, these post cards (see pic) I was able to do myself by ordering a custom kit I designed.

You'll need to make sure your math skills are tightened up before finalizing.
