Bowman 1st in old uniform or Bowman Chrome Prospect in current uniform

I'm looking to buy a Cam Smith card and since he was traded to the Astros from the Cubs all his Bowman 1st cards are of him in a Cubs uni whereas his Bowman Chrome Prospect (2025) are of him in an Astros uniform

My instinct is to go for the Bowman 1st since that's typically the go-to for any player but which do you think is the better choice for future value?

Even if you're looking for non auto, the 1st is going to be much more expensive and has much more upside. Smith's 2025 might do a little better than other players from 2024 Draft because of the new uni, but not nearly enough to close the gap.
