Inserted 1:3 Hobby/Retail packs and they are Rookie cards that are condition sensitive, rarer than the base and chrome versions with the same image and over time don't turn green. I'm talking all the top Rookies not one specific. The reason I ask is because it just seems odd.

They do seem undervalued but that's 99% of 90's/2000's basketball for you honestly. Only a select few type of cards have really gone up in price (higher end 90's insert, 2000's refractors, etc.). For most of the rest, there's a ton of real nice cards in the $10-$50 range. I see an Iverson 96 50th Anniversary RC goes for less than $30 as a PSA 8. Mind you, you'd be fortunate to even get an 8 on this card with today's standards imo.
So to summarize - The answer is for no reason really. Or the answer is more-so the opposite of why collectors go after other 90's cards instead - for the sick, unique designs of the inserts whereas this parallel is kind of ordinary with just basic outer foil.

It's probably because none of the top influencers have them (yet).
I agree with you though. Look at the price difference between a PSA 10 TC Kobe Refractor RC and then a Kobe NBA @50.
Then look at the pop counts for both.
Full disclosure: I picked up an NBA @ 50 Kobe because I didn't want to deal with greening.
